Nature Jars

A great idea to bring nature into the classroom. Collect some jars, and fill them with seed, shells, leaves, twigs and other items you can think of. Display them on a shelf. Introduce them to the children. Their curious minds will appreciate it!

'N' for noodles

Yummy! A true Malaysian dish. Noodle soup. (Prawn Noodles to be exact). Made with paper bowls, wooden chopsticks, yarn, paper, felt, tissue paper, and plastic wrap.

More Crafty Moments

Feelings.

The many faces of a child in a day.

1.Sad to part from Mummy.

2.Happy to meet friends at school.

3.Angry & upset when friends refuse to share.

4.Happy again when involved in fun activities.

:)

Happy Deepavali

The festival of lights! The children dressed up for in traditional Indian costumes, ate different types of 'Muruku', Coconut Candy, and had lunch on Banana Leaf! They made a 'Kolam' (form of sandpainting using coloured rice), Greeting Cards and for their cooking project, we thought them how to make Adhirasam (a sweet snack) It turned out very well.

Happy Deepavali!! :)

Mid-Autumm Festival

Also known as the Lantern festival. The children made lanterns and moon-cakes. They were so excited as the moon-cakes turned out well. We sold some at the Coffee Shop opposite the school. :)

Hari Raya

*yummy*
We recently celebrated Hari Raya with the children at school. They dressed up in traditional Malay costumes and ate traditional Malay dishes. Some of them could even sing the 'Selamat Hari Raya' song.

School Trip to Aquaria KLCC

We had learned about sea creatures for the whole month of August and it was a real good experience for the children to visit the Aquaria and finaly see the sea creatures in their habitat. An unforgetable experience. They are still taking about their trip.

International Day

International Day. A day to get together and celebrate our different cultures. Everyone came dresses in their traditional costumes and all the moms brought a traditional dish to share with each other while the children put on a show for the parents. They performed traditional dances and the girls even did a hula dance. They looked so adorable.

Arts and crafts

Arts & crafts is one of their favorite activities. Messing around with glue, paint & glitter. They couldn't ask for more!

Mother's Day

The children baked these special cupcakes for their moms.

My Mommy Cuddles Me
My mommy cuddles me
kisses me, hugs me and misses me
pampers me, praises me, always
amazes me
Washes my clothes for me,
tickles my toes for me,
giggles and talks with me,
and also goes on walks with me,
Says "sweet dreams" to me,
Sings sweet songs to me,
I am glad she belongs to me.

Easter Party & Picnic!

The children had fun with the outdoor activities we had in the park. They won tons of prizes and were extremely excited to search the grounds for Easter Eggs. Definitely going to be an annual event.

Chineese New Year

All the children came to school in a traditional Chinese regardless of their race.
They had tons of fun peeling their Mandarin Oranges, listening to the festive songs and receiving red packets. Gong Xi Fa Cai !!
Handprints

Sometimes you get discouraged
Because I am so small
And always leave my hand print
On furniture and wall

But everyday I'm growing
(I'll be all grown someday)
And all those tiny hand prints
Will surely fade away.

So here's another hand print
Just so you can recall
Exactly how my fingers looked
When they were very small.
